Light Rail

The Light Rail, also known as the Light Rail Transit (LRT),officially the North-West Railway, is a light rail system in Hong Kong, serving the northwestern New Territories, within Tuen Mun District and Yuen Long District. The system operates over 1,435 mm (4 ft 8+1⁄2 in) standard gauge track, using 750 V DC overhead power supply. It was once one of four systems comprising the KCR network in Hong Kong, before the MTR–KCR merger in 2007. It has a daily ridership of about 483,000 people.

Kowloon Motor Bus

The Kowloon Motor Bus Company (1933) Limited (KMB) is a bus company operating franchised services in Hong Kong. It is the largest bus company in Hong Kong by fleet size and number of bus routes, with over 4000 buses and 420 routes. It is a subsidiary of Transport International.

MTR

The railway network in Hong Kong consists of nine different railway lines, covering the major areas and suburbs of Hong Kong. Star Ferry

The service is operated by the Star Ferry Company, which was founded in 1888 as the Kowloon Ferry Company, and adopted its present name in 1898.

Ngong Ping 360

Ngong Ping 360 (Chinese: 昂坪360) is a bicable gondola lift on Lantau Island in Hong Kong. Intended to improve tourism to the area, the aerial lift was previously known as Tung Chung Cable Car Project before acquiring the Ngong Ping 360 brand in April 2005.

Tram

Hong Kong Tramways (HKT) is a 3 ft 6 in (1,067 mm) narrow-gauge tram system in Hong Kong. Owned and operated by RATP Dev, the tramway runs on Hong Kong Island between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, with a branch circulating through Happy Valley.

Peak Tram

The Peak Tram is a funicular railway in Hong Kong, which carries both tourists and residents to the upper levels of Hong Kong Island. Running from Garden Road Admiralty to Victoria Peak via the Mid-Levels, it provides the most direct route and offers good views over the harbour and skyscrapers of Hong Kong. Operated since 1888, it was the first funicular railway in Asia.

Sun Ferry Services Company Limited, more widely known as Sun Ferry and formerly New World First Ferry Services, is a ferry service company in Hong Kong. The company was established in November 1999, when it took over the eight licensed ferry routes transferred from Hongkong and Yaumati Ferry in January 2000.

Hong Kong & Kowloon Ferry Ltd (HKKF) is a ferry service company in Hong Kong. It was formed by a number of shipping and shipbuilding firms, and was incorporated in Hong Kong in February 1998.

New Lantao Bus

The New Lantao Bus Company (1973) Limited, commonly known as New Lantao Bus or NLB, is a franchised bus company operating in Hong Kong. It mainly operates bus routes on Lantau Island.

Park Island Transport Company Limited (PITCL) is a non-franchised bus company in Hong Kong. Established in 2002, it operates bus and ferry services between Ma Wan Island and other parts of Hong Kong territory.

Discovery Bay Bus

Discovery Bay Bus is a bus company in Hong Kong, operated by Discovery Bay Transportation Services Limited, a subsidiary of Hong Kong Resort International, the developer of Discovery Bay. It provides 24-hour internal and external transportation services for parts of Discovery Bay on Lantau Island. Due to the traffic control measures implemented since the opening of the Discovery Bay Tunnel, which serves as the main access point to Discovery Bay, restricting the passage of other vehicles, Discovery Bay Bus is the only organization that offers land-based public transportation services in the Discovery Bay area.
