Edifício Lok Kuan

Seac Pai Van Public Housing Complex (葡萄牙語:Complexo de Habitação Pública de Seac Pai Van) is a large-scale public housing development project located in Seac Pai Van, Coloane, Macau. In 2009, the Macau SAR Government formulated the "Seac Pai Van Urbanization Plan" for the project, with a planned area of 300,000 square meters and a capacity to accommodate 60,000 residents. The government reclaimed two parcels of occupied land in 2010 and another parcel in 2011 for consolidation and subsequent blasting operations at the former quarry in Seac Pai Van. In the middle of 2011, construction officially began on the public housing sites within the planned area. The Macau SAR Government fully funded the project, which is the largest public housing initiative in Macau. It includes three public housing projects (CN3, CN4, CN5a, and CN7) and one social housing project, as well as three separate sites designated for social facilities (CN6a, CN6b, and CN6d),providing a total of 9,015 public housing units. The complex also features various facilities and services such as transportation, healthcare, education, recreational activities, and social services. Additionally, there are multiple commercial establishments providing services to meet the daily needs of the residents, covering a total area of over 53,000 square meters. The four public housing projects were gradually completed and occupied starting from 2013. According to the Macau SAR Government, the housing complex is composed of On Son Building, Koi Nga Building, and Yip Hing Building for the economic housing units, as well as Lok Kuan Building for the social housing units. In total, the complex provides 9,015 residential units, with the meaning of "安 (peace),居 (residence),樂 (joy),業 (career)". It is also the first community in Macau to use natural gas as a household fuel and incorporates a recycled water system for toilet flushing.
